Car Manufacturers Recall Faulty Vehicles

Popular car manufacturers BMW, Fiat Chrysler and Honda have started to recall vehicles with faulty airbags, after Takata Corp (the manufacturer of the airbags) admitted last week that over 50 million cars were affected. Since then, it’s been revealed that over 30 million of those vehicles are based in the US, meaning it’s the country’s largest recall of cars.

So what exactly is the problem with the airbags you ask? Regulators have related 6 deaths due to airbags which have exploded because of the exposure to moisture.

Honda have recalled approximately 20 million vehicles which have Takata airbags, whilst Fiat Chrysler have recalled 5 million and BMW have recalled 20 different models (2002-2006) in the US.
