Repairing Hydraulic Mechanisms

There are a lot of different disciplines in the engineering and manufacturing industries. Two of the big ones are dealing with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Hydraulics are used for the generation, control and transmission of power through the use of pressurised liquids. A large portion of the infrastructure throughout the developed world relies upon hydraulics, so there is a lot of room for those prepared to work with the mechanics of it all.

You need to be careful when operating hydraulics, as they can be dangerous when used improperly. Problems arise within hydraulics when the energy being transmitted is overloading the capacity of the device. If this has happened, then the energy needs to be released somewhere, usually resulting in the mechanism breaking down, bursting open, and the fluid leaking. This will likely require bolts to be replaced, and some investigations made into what caused the mechanism to be over-stressed.
